I just had the WORST flying experience ever on a Southwest flight from Vegas to Atlanta! A mother and her "just turned two" child were sitting behind me. A mother and father and their four month old were sitting in front of me. Across the aisle was a mother with a three year old and a two month old.
The CRYING, COOING, WHINING, HOLLERING, KICKING, and the "MOMMY WHAT'S THIS"ing almost drove me to the point to stand up and say something on behalf of all the other passengers on the flight!! I thought it better to blog about it than get kicked off the plane mid flight...
No, I'm not a mother. As a matter of fact, this flight was birth control times 10 for me. If I were a mother, I can't see my 2 year old being so misbehaved. Allowing your child to intermittently kick my seat, whine, and scream for almost four hours is just bad parenting. As for the babies, I can't say too much... They are babies. Make sure they are sleepy when they get on the plane.
I can say I will pay a bit more for a long flight if I could be assured there would be no children on board. Passengers aren't even safe from children in business or first class flights anymore! I'm not the only one thinking or saying this either. Check out the links below.
